Fall 2008 Programs & Lessons
Adult Beginner Swim Lessons:
These lessons are once a week for five weeks in the zero depth entry portion of the pool. These lessons are for adult beginner swimmers, with little
or no comfort in the water. Students will learn how to hold their breath, float and learn basic water safety skills.
Maximum enrollment – 10 participants.
Minimum enrollment – 3 participants.

Location Recreation pool zero-depth area/lap lanes
or 50 meter west.
Time Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30pm

Adult Intermediate Swim Lessons
These lessons are designed for intermediate adult swimmers. Students will receive stroke improvement instruction on the four swimming strokes; freestyle,
backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Our goals are comfort with each stroke and improved endurance.

Minimum enrollment – 3 participants.

Private Swim Lessons Adult or Child
These lessons are designed to meet specific needs. Private lessons consist of four 30-minute sessions of one-on-one instruction. Set the time to meet
your schedule and the instructor will help you meet your swimming goals. After you register for your lesson, Aquaplex staff will contact you to arrange
the four sessions. Two weeks prior notification is required.
Members $80
Non-Members $90
Time Private Lessons will be held Monday/Wedenesday: September 15th - October 29, 2008
Saturday: September 20th - November 16th, 2008
Participants choose four lesson times during these hours: Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays 4:00pm - 6:40pm, and Saturdays 10:10 - 1:00pm.

Master's Level Swim Class
The purpose of this program is to guide swimmers who are familiar with freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly in an organized swim workout.
There will be very little stroke improvement for these classes, so please be sure you are ready for the challenge of swimming a full workout. Swimmers
will be set-up in lanes according to ability and speed, so they receive the most out of these workouts! One and a half hour, three times a week for
12 weeks.
Maximum enrollment – 30(+) participants.
Minimum enrollment – 5 participants.
Enrollment will be open through out the term of the class.

Beginning Diving Class
One hour, once a week for five weeks, one session in the semester.

Water Safety Instructor Course
Become an American Red Cross certified swim lesson instructor. Learn to teach swimming lessons to children 6 months and up. This course, in combination with CPR/AED and First Aid, will qualify you to teach learn-to-swim lessons at most aquatics facilities.
